Katja Fischer

In 2011 Katja Fischer joined to AUDITIVVOKAL.

The soprano singer was born in Erfurt and moved to Dresden to complete her studies on the College „Carl Maria von Weber“.

Expect of numerous inland engagements Katja Fischer traveled to several international concert halls like the Opera Nova of Bydgosczc; the Cathedrals of Kaliningrad, Chartres, Reims and Noyon; the Aula Leopoldina in Breslau; to Gent, Neapel and Rom.

2005 Katja Fischer realized her first recording „Weihnachten in der Dresdner Frauenkirche“, conducted by Peter Kopp. A few months later „Johannespassion von Gottfried August Homilius“ in cooperation with the well known Dresdner Kreuzchor and Roderich Kreile was presented. Rondeau Production published two recordings: „Musikam hab ich allzeit lieb“ and „Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott“, produced in the famous Dresdner Frauenkirche, conducted by Matthias Grünert. In cooperation with ensemble reflexion K and Gerald Eckert Katja Fischer – as a member of AUDITIVVOKAL – at least realized the first recording of the contemporary piece „Werden Fische je das Wasser leid?“ by Nicolaus A. Huber.

Since her membership to „Klangforum Heidelberg“ in 2007, conducted by Walter Nußbaum, Katja Fischer openminded and enthusiastic dedicates herself to the development of contemporary music.

This passion joins all members of AUDITIVVOKAL to each other and its conductor Olaf Katzer.
